timlinnemann I can't express how happy I am whenever I see Proux has made something new. The self-claimed "trial and error" has paid off in a concentrated elixir of pure disco-funk alchemy. Proux consistently creates tracks that are elevated far beyond "genre music", with a distinct voice that rings clearly through the noise of commodified nostalgia. I'll take the sincere joy expressed here over self-aware irony any day. Hard to avoid superlatives, but this is music that brightens my life. Thanks Proux! Favorite track: escape.
